1. Who we are

These terms apply to every purchase on www.maritimo-recycling.com (the "Website"). The seller is Udruga Maritimo Recycling, a non-profit association registered in the Republic of Croatia ("we", "us"):

These terms are written for consumers, meaning people who buy for personal purposes. Companies that want to order in bulk or start a CSR partnership should contact us, as those orders are agreed separately.

2. Our products

Our products are made from recycled plastic and finished by hand. Small differences in colour, pattern and shape are natural and are not defects. Colours may look slightly different on different screens.

3. Placing an order and concluding the contract

You choose a product, add it to the cart, enter your details and pay at checkout. The contract is concluded when we send you an order confirmation by email. If a product turns out to be unavailable, or a price was shown by obvious mistake, we may cancel the order and will refund anything you have paid.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT. Delivery costs, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay. Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments, which is powered by Stripe, a payment service provider certified at PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of certification in the payment card industry. Card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro) use encrypted (TLS) connections and 3-D Secure (Strong Customer Authentication) where required under PSD2. We do not see or store your full card details. We send your invoice by email.

5. Delivery

Delivery is described in our Shipping Policy. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you name other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods.

6. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. How to do this, and what happens afterwards, is described in our Refund and Returns Policy.

7. Legal guarantee

Under the Croatian Consumer Protection Act we are responsible for any lack of conformity that exists when the goods are delivered and appears within two years of delivery. If goods are not in conformity, you may ask us to repair or replace them. If that is not possible, is disproportionate, or is not done within a reasonable time, you may ask for a price reduction or end the contract and receive a refund. To make a claim, email us your order number and photos of the problem. This guarantee cannot be excluded or limited, and it applies in addition to our Lifetime Warranty.

8. Lifetime Warranty

For products we make from recycled plastic we offer a Lifetime Warranty on top of the legal guarantee. Its terms are on the Lifetime Warranty page. It does not affect your legal rights.

9. Complaints

You can send a complaint in writing by email to info@maritimo-recycling.com or by post to our registered office. We reply in writing within 15 days of receiving it, and we keep a record of complaints for at least one year.

10. Out-of-court dispute resolution

We are not obliged to, and have not committed to, take part in proceedings before an out-of-court dispute resolution (ADR) body. We are always willing to look for a fair solution together, so please contact us first at info@maritimo-recycling.com.

11. Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, logos and names on the Website, including "Maritimo Recycling" and "Floaties", belong to us or are used with permission. Please do not copy or use them commercially without our written consent.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing limits your rights as a consumer.

13. Personal data and cookies

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. If you live in another country, you keep the mandatory consumer protection rights of the country where you live.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applied on the day you ordered applies to your order.
